The mechanic

Simple enough to explain in one breath.

Pay the exact server-calculated price, take the homepage, and keep it until someone else pays to take it.

01

Make a billboard

Add a display name, headline, optional body and image, and a destination URL. The format stays deliberately safe: plain text and a verified link.

02

Preview and lock

Preview the exact desktop or mobile structure. At the last step, the server reads current active viewers and locks a short-lived quote in integer cents.

03

Pay once

Stripe Checkout fixes the amount for that session. The browser redirect is only a receipt; a verified server webhook is what can create ownership.

04

Keep it until the next takeover

Every activated billboard gets at least 30 seconds by default. After the minimum, it stays live indefinitely until the next verified paid takeover activates. If others are waiting, they move FIFO.

What the price means

The public price is temporary defensive armor: it reflects the active visible viewers the current billboard has right now, with a server-controlled base and cap. When traffic leaves, the price can come back down.

Everyone pays the exact current server price. Payment amount never changes FIFO order, and the live homepage never closes or selects a permanent owner.
