Plain-language terms

What you are buying.

These MVP terms describe the product as built. They are not a substitute for final legal review.

Temporary homepage placement

You purchase a temporary promotional placement on the Billboard Heist homepage. You do not purchase the website, a permanent position, a prize, an audience, or a guaranteed outcome.

Minimum reign and queue

Each activated takeover receives at least 30 seconds by default, subject to the server-controlled configuration in effect for that activation. After the minimum period, your billboard remains live only until the next verified paid takeover activates. If buyers are already waiting, your paid takeover enters a first-in, first-out queue.

Price and Checkout

The server calculates the price using its current configuration and active-viewer metric. A short-lived quote shows the inputs used. A locked Checkout price applies only to that Checkout session. Future configuration changes do not reprice prior purchases, and the browser cannot choose, increase, or decrease the amount.

No performance guarantee

Traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, search placement, social distribution, and duration beyond the minimum are not guaranteed. Active viewers are temporary defensive armor for the current owner, not a promise of exposure.

Content and destination rules

You must have the rights to all submitted images and text and must provide a destination you are permitted to promote. Arbitrary HTML, JavaScript, iframes, tracking pixels, custom embeds, and video uploads are not supported. Prohibited, fraudulent, harmful, impersonating, or unlawful content may be hidden or removed, including while preserving a private audit record.

What this is not

Billboard Heist is not an auction, raffle, lottery, sweepstakes, drawing, contest, or random selection system. Payment does not purchase odds or a chance to win anything. There is no final winner and the site does not close or reset.

Payment and verified activation

Only a verified server-side payment webhook can activate or queue a takeover. A browser redirect to the success page does not prove payment or create ownership. If payment processing is delayed, the success page will show a neutral confirmation state while the server checks the payment.

Changes and legal review

Current configuration may change for future purchases. We may update these terms, moderate public content, or change operational limits. Final legal, tax, privacy, and payment review is still required before a public launch.
